![]() Mr. Flick was very excited to get a check for $3500 from OtterCares which is part of the local mobile case company OtterBox. The money is a grant that Mr. Flick applied for to help purchase new tech equipment for his Tech Badges Program for all 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. He was awarded the grant partly because of the philanthropic theme of his program which is “Using technology we can improve our world.” ![]() Our Bethke School Store opened for business Friday the 11th. They sold out of a couple hot items in their grand opening but still have more inventory for purchase this Friday. They will be open on Fridays only. All items are $1 or less. Fourth and fifth graders can use the Bob bucks as well. We have three crews that work the store during their lunchhour so they can still have time to eat their lunch. Come support our entrepreneurs in training! Crew two that keeps it going during 2nd and 3rd grade lunch. Crew three that closes up the store after fourth and fifth grade lunch!
![]() Our amazing technology man keeps us moving forward in the 21st century. Brad Flickinger has added so much to our school by encouraging teachers on implementing new technology. Even the principal now has a blog! He teaches tech classes, coordinates a variety of enrichment clubs, and supports us all when things get glitchy, which they always do! But he does it all with a smile. Brad, thank you, for making Bethke a better place! And thank you for honoring all learners! - ![]() These three ladies support our full day kindergarten teachers and bobcats. From left to right, Mrs. Rogers works with Mrs. Ricks;Mrs. Gasser works with Ms. Taylor;Mrs. Thompson works with Mrs. Kalvels. They love spending their days with kindergarten students and watching them learn and grow! Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Gasser work in the afternoons with fourth and fifth grade math students as well. Mrs. Gasser teaches kindergarten technology classes throughout the week with Mr. Flick. These ladies are busy! And we appreciate them so much! ![]() Sara Beth Kuhlman feeds almost 300 kids everyday! I'm not going to complain about cooking for my family anymore! She loves her job. She loves the kids. And it makes her happy to provide foods that kids love to eat. She manages a kitchen staff of three and keeps our cafeteria at an extremely clean level according to the health department. Thank you Sara Beth for taking care of us all! ![]() Christina Eddy works as a primary paraprofessional throughout the day. She assists in half day kindergarten followed by running small groups in first and second grade. She loves working with the children and can always be found with a smile! Thanks, Christina, for helping our littlest bobcats succeed! ![]() Laura Lee Matlock has been a paraprofessional at Bethke for five years. She works with small groups of kids throughout the day providing additional support and enrichment. She also runs the cafeteria daily ensuring kids have a safe, comfortable lunchroom. A former teacher herself, Mrs. Matlock adores the children and loves to see how they grow and change from year to year. Thank you Mrs. Matlock for all you do! |
