Thanks to everyone who donated to the Student Council Cans Around Bethke campaign for the Larimer County Food Bank. Together we gathered 1497 items to contribute to the CSU Cans Around the Oval campaign which raised 234,444 pounds of food for the Larimer County Food Bank. Our student council leadership team loaded everything up into five big barrels and found we need two more barrels to deliver it all! Thanks for making a difference in our community!
Congratulations to our outstanding mathletes that competed in the 4th annual Mathnasium Trimathalon! Bethke took first place overall in PSD out of 13 schools because of their combined scores! They earned over $200 for our school that they will spend on new math materials and games for their classrooms! We had numerous medal winners taking 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their age divisions. Way to go bobcats!!!
Mrs. Matlock, our wonderful building paraprofessional was awarded Classified Employee of the Year last year. This dedicated lady has been at Bethke for five years. She works with all grades and adores all of the children! Not only is she in the cafeteria, but she runs small groups for math and reading. She has also been seen walking up and down the stairs practicing numbers and letters with our littlest bobcats. Our staff appreciates all she does for us. Thank you Mrs. Matlock!
Mrs. Rogers is a paraprofessional in Mrs. Ricks' full day kindergarten class. Her patience, care, love and support help our youngest bobcats succeed. She works with them on their writing daily in centers as well as one on one to meet their needs. We are so fortunate to have Mrs. Rogers in kindergarten!
How lucky we are to have such a wonderful, new paraprofessional in primary this year! Ali McGinley works in half day kindergarten daily and supports first grade in the afternoons. She is a certified teacher and loves working with kids! Her constant smile and never ending positive attitude is welcomed everyday! Thanks for all you do Mrs. McGinley!
Here since the school opened, Mrs. Thompson has been a kindergarten paraprofessional supporting our youngest bobcats with their writing. In the afternoons she works with small groups of students in other grades and always with a smile! She is so patient and positive with the kids because she loves her job! We appreciate all she does for Bethke!
Ian Wells has been a fantastic addition to our school this year! He works with students all day long to support their learning and growth. He can be found in the classrooms working with groups of kids, on the playground playing with kids, or eating lunch in all corners of the building with kids! He's super positive and encouraging to all. We are so glad he is here! Thanks for all you do Mr. Wells!
Mrs. Heather Gasser is our library paraprofessional each day now serving our primary classes in the media center all afternoon. Supporting Mr. McInerney, Heather organizes and manages the library collection while assisting students with check in and out. She loves to read aloud to the classes each day! In the mornings Mrs. Gasser is a kindergarten paraprofessional supporting Mrs. Busselman's class. She has been here since we opened and we are so thankful for all she does for Bethke Elementary!
